Aware Senior Care Circle of Support
That’s why we started our Circle of Support , a list of trusted and vetted individuals who provide the resources and care our clients need.

This month’s Circle of Support Partners are Julie Kopetski, owner of Your Next Move, and Jennie Alwood, owner of Here to Home. When Tim moved his mom from her home into an assisted living community, Jennie and Julie helped Tim build a team consisting of a geriatric care manager, senior move manager, and a real estate expert. Read more about this experience on Tim’s Mom Emily Blog .

Your Next Move is dedicated to assisting families searching for a Senior Housing Community in Raleigh, Cary, Durham, or Chapel Hill areas. Julie and her team will also work with you to sell the family home.

Here to Home’s mission is to gracefully transition people who are downsizing, moving, or setting up a new home, enabling peace of mind for clients and their families.

Preparing for your Doctor's Visit
Have you reached a crossroad where it’s apparent that your loved one is unable to live safely at home? How do you have a conversation with your loved one about moving? Who can help your loved one with the emotional and physical task of moving from a beloved home to an apartment in a facility or community?

Read tips on these topics in Parts Two and Seven of Tim’s “My Mother Emily” blog , which chronicles his experience moving his mom from her long term residence into assisted living. These blogs pair perfectly with the great work of our featured partners, Jennie Alwood of Here To Home and Julie Kopetski, owner of Your Next Move NC .
